Stadt Erlangen 'Kurt Eisner' Mural

This mural won the solicitation to be selected and created at the main plaza in the Bavarian city of Erlangen which is dedicated to a relatively unknown but very important person when it comes to Bavarian history.
Kurt Eisner was the guy behind the curtains, a journalist, a true pacifist and the one that brought the Bavarian monarchy to an end and introduced democracy to the new Bavarian state. The Bavarian lion, in this case a metaphor for crashing the monarchy and bringing it to an end, stands proud in front of a calm and peaceful Kurt Eisner surrounded by elements which represented his body of work.
